what is chemical genomics?
chemical genetics screening
By using a library of small molecules to screen for potential molecules that interact with the mutated FAA and assessing apoptosis rates for these different molecules in follow-up experiments, it allows for different drug treatment options to possibly be utilized to stop this mutated phenotype. There are currently no known small molecule interactions that can be explored for more drug treatment options however more studies like these will elucidate different pathways can be looked deeper into it.
